Registration Award Ceremony National ORD Prize 2025

On 27 November 2025, the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences will award the National Prize for Open Research Data (ORD Prize). This is part of the ‘Open Research Data’ action plan, which the academies are implementing as part of the National Strategy for Open Research Data. The award aims to recognise researchers for innovative practices in the field of open research data (ORD) and to promote the transition to open research practices. Register for the award ceremony and join us in celebrating the innovative winning projects.

Open research data promotes transparency, reproducibility and collaboration within the scientific community and allows society to benefit from scientific findings. Since 2023, the Academies of Science have been awarding the National ORD Prize to recognise innovative practices in the field of open research data and to promote the transition to open data.

Join us in celebrating outstanding achievements and innovative projects in the field of open research data. The award ceremony offers an inspiring platform for exchange, networking and the promotion of open science in Switzerland.
